Traditional transgenic mouse founders show large individual variations. How do you ensure consistency?
Traditional methods rely on pronuclear injection, where exogenous genes randomly integrate into the genome, leading to varying copy numbers and integration sites that trigger expression differences. TurboMice™ achieves site-specific integration at the ESC stage, and all F0 mice originate from the same verified ESC monoclonal line, resulting in high genotype and phenotype consistency and completely resolving the issue of genetic drift.
My gene fragment exceeds 20 kb. Can this be done?
Absolutely. ESC homologous recombination is not subject to the capacity limitations of pronuclear injection. MingCeler has successfully delivered multiple long-fragment transgenic projects exceeding 20 kb as well as multi-locus combination projects, ensuring stable integration and expression of large fragments.
Can F0 generation transgenic mice be used directly for efficacy or phenotypic experiments?
Positive. The F0 generation of TurboMice™ consists of homozygotes whose somatic cells uniformly carry the transgene, and their genotypes and other factors undergo strict QC validation, allowing them to proceed directly to efficacy evaluations or basic phenotypic studies in fields such as oncology, immunology, and metabolism.
What if I want more mice in the future?
We cryopreserve the original ESC clones used to build your model. When additional mice are needed, direct thawing and tetraploid compensation production can be performed, enabling batch delivery of live mice in just 2 months with an identical genetic background to the initial batch.
