Strain Name

hHGF/hMET Mouse Model

Strain Background

C57BL/6N

Applications

  • MET inhibitor testing: Evaluate MET TKIs and anti-HGF mAbs in vivo.
  • HGF-dependent xenografts: Support PDX/CDX lines needing human HGF for growth.
  • Signaling studies: Dissect HGF–MET–PI3K/ERK/STAT3 axis in tumor progression.
  • Combination therapy: Model stromal HGF impact on targeted or immune checkpoint response.

Strain Description

The hHGF/hMET Mouse Model carries targeted knock-in of the human HGF and/or MET genes at their endogenous mouse loci. It replaces the murine HGF or MET coding sequences while preserving native promoters and regulatory elements. Therefore, it ensures physiological expression of functional human HGF and/or c-MET receptor in the same tissues and cell types where the endogenous genes are normally expressed.

This humanized HGF MET model allows therapeutics to engage authentic human targets. For example, you can test selective MET kinase inhibitors (e.g., capmatinib analogs) or anti-HGF neutralizing antibodies. Similarly, it supports HGF-dependent patient-derived xenografts (PDX) that fail to grow in wild-type hosts. Consequently, the hHGF/hMET Mouse Model provides a translational platform for MET-targeted drug efficacy, combination studies, and mechanism validation that conventional models cannot replicate.

FAQ

Game-changing benefits?

While competitors highlight germline efficiency gains, shorter timelines and enhanced 3Rs animal welfare benefits for their technologies, these are merely incremental improvements over traditional approaches. In sharp contrast, our proprietary technology delivers fully pure, homogeneous lineages—every single cell of the mice is derived exclusively from totipotent ES cells, with guaranteed 100% germline transmission efficiency. To experience these unparalleled benefits firsthand, enquire about your custom mouse model project with us or order embryos for in-house validation at your facility.
